Membership

By becoming a member of Greenways, you, your association, or club become integral parts of a thriving network of organizations within the Columbia Valley recreational region. Our membership welcomes individual*, non-profit groups, businesses, or local government organizations who share Greenways’ objectives and values.

*for individual membership, membership to an existing trail related club (from anywhere in the world) is a required.

Become a Member

Individual
$20

Eligibility requires being at least nineteen years old, a member of a recognized non-profit Recreational Group, and s interested in advancing the purposes and supporting the activities of the Society.

Non-Profit
$90

Eligibility requires being a registered non-profit organization or charity under the Income Tax Act and is interested in advancing the purposes and supporting the activities of the Society. A Person or Organization may not concurrently be a Member in multiple classes of the Societies.

Government
$175

Eligibility requires being a government body and is interested in advancing the purposes and supporting the activities of the Society. A Person or Organization may not concurrently be a Member in multiple classes of the Societies.

Business
$150

Eligibility necessitates being a for-profit organization and is interested in advancing the purposes and supporting the activities of the Society. A Person or Organization may not concurrently be a Member in multiple classes of the Societies.

What’s in it for you?

All members have the right to receive notice of and attend all General Meetings, make or second motions, speak in debates, and vote on matters. They also have the opportunity to participate in Society programs and initiatives according to Board-defined criteria.
